The ALL NEW PHANTOM X!!
It has been quite a journey from our first generation chassis up to the where we are today with the X.
This chassis was designed from the ground up with a lot of input from local shooters to get a finished product that offers the user the most versatile chassis for this price point.
Our drive and purpose for the PHANTOM X was to offers shooters one chassis option to do it all. From light NRL Hunter and hunting setups to the ability of adding weight to the chassis for normal racegun and PRS format shooting to mitigate recoil and get that perfect balance point without having to swap out chassis/stocks.
Starting at the front the PHANTOM X has an almost 16"/400mm long an 1.7"/43mm wide forend fully loaded with M-LOK slots at the bottom and both sides, and yes we listened and introduced an integrated arca rail at the bottom of the full forend. We have opened up the front section of the forend to allow for easier installation of internal weights.
We have introduced a larger 1.4"/35mm high integrated barricade stop to the magwell and with the continues struggle with different mag types we have now installed an adjustable mag release that will allow the user to adjust magazine height.
We have designed and introduced a new adjustable thumb rest to the PHANTOM X that will allow the user to adjust the rest forward or backwards and the degree of ange to suit their need.
The PHANTOM X remains with the standard AR grip post and that gives freedom to the user to install any AR type grip of their choice.
Moving to the buttstock, one major noticable difference is that we now manufacture the chassis in two sections and the buttstock will need to be installed to the main body seperately. We have designed a completely new skeleton type buttstock, cutting away all unnecessary and unused weight. We have a newly designed adjustable cheek piece and recoil pad assebly and both have toolless adjustability. The buttstock is rounded off with our new super ligh bag rider.
The PHANTOM X was not only designed to push the boundaries of what a chassis can offer but also provide the market with an alluminium chassis that ticks all the boxes at an affordable price.
The PHANTOM X Ships as a complete system that includes the main body with adjustable mag release and adjustable thumb rest, buttstock with adjustable cheek piece, adjustable recoil pad for length of pull and height and a aluminium bag rider. The total weight of the PHANTOM X is +- 1.6 Kg
